You're about to have a momentous day with your most special people gathered in one place. There will be big hugs and real laughs, and maybe your parents' voices will crack as they toast you and your new spouse. There will definitely be a lot of shimmying as your friends converge on the dance floor at the end of the night, and the look on your Person’s face when you catch a glimpse of each other across the room might say more than any words could.
We’re here to capture the movement, the sounds, and the feel of these moments in a way only documentary video can. We see wedding videos as family heirlooms , and we make them so you can watch them over and over. (We’re not in the business of heirlooms that sit in the attic, forgotten and dusty.)

This is a 4-6 minute video showcasing the most significant interactions from throughout your wedding day in a high-energy, moment-packed style. We love to include the looks on your friends’ faces when they see you in your wedding day best for the first time, the mid-ceremony hand squeeze between you and your almost-spouse, the cocktail hour reunion hugs, and the very best your people can bring to the dance floor. This format is short enough that you can watch it over and over and share with everyone you love.

We’ll capture your vows and your reception speeches in full, plus you’ll get an additional two documentary scenes (5-10 minutes long) that delve deeper into selected parts of your day. We can capture the bubbling excitement of everyone getting ready for the ceremony or the surprise mid-reception family dance routine in a style that showcases these moments slowly and naturally. We’ll work together to decide beforehand which parts of your wedding day you’d like to have captured in this fuller fashion.

What you’ll find in our videos:
You and your spouse-to-be holding each other tight when you see each other for the first time on wedding day. You and your new spouse hugging EVERYONE when you greet your guests as a married couple during cocktail hour. Mini-family reunions converging as a giant six-person hug, with you in the middle. Your best friend engulfing you in a giant bear hug after they gave a speech during dinner that totally made you cry. (Okay, just lots of hugging.)
Genuine laughs. Wedding joy + yummy drinks= goofy, happy people throwing their heads back out of pure joy.
Adorable moments you might not have seen the first time around. Read: you’ll be busy having some big moments, but your families and friends will be still be fist-bumping and meeting for the time and helping each other put on bow-ties throughout the day.
Dance floor shenanigans. Sometimes we fear for our own safety/our equipment. We love this. Bonus points for grandmas and tiny children who know how to bust a move.
What you won't see:
Slow, gliding footage of your ceremony chairs being set up.
A highlights video that features only the two of you kissing and holding hands, as we instructed you to do.
In-your-face shots during your first kiss that we stomped on grandma in order to capture.

About us
Hi! We’re Briana and David. We’ve been married for more than a decade and filming together longer than that. Our first video project ever landed us in Ethiopia to create a documentary, where we had the cameras but not much of a plan. We learned all the necessary skills as we went, though, and we’ve been telling stories on video ever since.
In the fourteen years after that trip to Ethiopia, we started filming weddings, traveled across five continents in various forms of rickety transportation, got hitched back home in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve, had a kid (or…three), took to the road full time in our trusty truck camper Fordo Baggins, and eventually found our way back to LA.
We love showing people the magic that’s already there: in themselves, in their community, and on their wedding day. When we’re not filming weddings, Briana makes other kinds of family heirloom videos, reads & writes books, and tries to convince her kids that she’s an excellent dancer. (No one is convinced.) David creates media for educational organizations, paints, and does his best to play it cool when his kids show interest in anything ocean-related.
